How to take part

For the participants

We invite you to take part in “The procession of lions” which take place in St. Petersburg in 2006. “The procession of lions” is an original art-project. Its main task is to collect money for neglected children of St. Petersburg. “Lions on duty” near the Elagin palace are the prototypes of the lions-participants of the action. Create an original and funny design for the lion! Later these lions will participate in the exhibition on the streets and squares of the city. Painters, designers, artisans, architectures, the students of the Universities of Arts and all comers individually or in groups are invited to create a design for a lion. Sponsors and the jury choose the best lions; then the authors of the best design will be invited to realize their ideas on the sculpture of the lion. These lions will be the official participants of the parade and take part in the show. The winners of the parade will sell by the auction. All takings from the sale will use for the realization of the charity programs for talented neglected and homeless children. These charity programs are developed by the Fund “The protection of children” and the “World Wide Club of Petersburgers”.
